Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10 in 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr. who was a tool and die maker who previously been employed as a worker in an industrial company. Michael, Kelly and Patrick, are three of her siblings. Stone was considered academically gifted in her early years and entered second grade at five. Stone graduated from high school with a diploma at Saegertown in Saegertown in Pennsylvania in the year 1975. In 1975, the Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw her win Miss Crawford County. Stone, along with her aunt, in 1977 moved into New Jersey for a modeling job. She was signed by Ford Modeling Agency a week after. The next stage was Europe which she was to spend a year living in Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone was disillusioned by the model industry in Europe she decided to concentrate on acting. Stone was a 20-year-old in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories" a film that received mixed receptions.
