Shailene Woodley is an American actor and activist. She gained fame for her portrayal in the role of Alexandra King as a teen addict in The Descendants. She continued to impress following her highly acclaimed performance of The Descendants. Shailene was able to establish herself in Hollywood very early during her career, which alone is an impressive feat. She began her career in television and commercials, then moved on to Hollywood films. Many awards have been won by her due to her exceptional acting. This includes MTV Movie Awards as well as People's Choice Awards and Teen Choice Awards.
