Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette (January 31, 1937 from 1937 to January 19th 2007) was an American film, theatre television, and voice actress. Pleshette began her career in theatre, and she appeared in films in the 1950s and later. She later appeared in prominent films such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). She later appeared in various TV productions, mostly as a guest actor, and played Emily Hartley on The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 to 1978, earning several Emmy Award nominations for her work. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City on the 31st of January in 1937. Her parents were Jewish who were children of immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary.Her mother was a dancer and artist who performed on stage under the name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was the stage director of the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
